SCOTLAND'S very own Nancy dropped in to a primary school to help pupils rehearse for their own version of Oliver!.
Ashley Russell, 24, who finished in the top six of BBC's I'd Do Anything show, visited St Serf's Primary School in Airdrie.
Children were preparing for Olivia!, which will mark the retirement of head teacher Mary Griffiths.
Ashley, who now teaches drama in London, said: "The kids were so nice and it was great to see the terrific relationships they have with the staff.
"I really enjoyed hearing the kids singing."
Mary Griffiths said: "This year's end-of-term show will mean so much to me as it's my last and Ashley's visit is really the icing on the cake for what will be a terrific production."
